Foodbank of Santa Barbara County’s Turkey Drive has officially kicked off.

The Turkey Drive started Friday morning. Longtime residents, Stu and Jan Bartleson, donated 100 frozen turkeys.

This year, Wells Fargo is sponsoring the Turkey Drive, and they’re starting a $25,000 one to one matching grant.

The Turkey Drive runs through Friday, November 22nd.

The Food Bank hopes to raise $25,000 and collect 3,000 turkeys this year.

Donations can be dropped off at the Food Bank’s Santa Maria and Santa Barbara locations.

The Santa Maria facility is located at 490 West Foster Road. It’s open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The Santa Barbara facility is located at 4554 Hollister Avenue from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will also be a one-day event at that location on Saturday, November 16th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
