Join the Santa Barbara Symphony for George Gershwin and Dubose Heyward’s Porgy and Bess. With Gershwin’s unstoppable talent and energy and Heyward’s story, Porgy and Bess has become a 20th Century standard of stage entertainment. Two other American composers of lush and beautiful works, Dan Redfeld and Howard Hanson, round out this not-to-be missed final concert of the season.
