Santa Barbara Celebrates 40 Years Of Earth Day

The two day, 40th anniversary of Earth Day Festival attracted nearly 20,000 during over the weekend in Santa Barbara.
On Saturday and Sunday, huge crowds came out to Alameda Park to see more than 200 exhibitors. Those participating in the festival, were made up of cutting edge companies offering “green” solutions to everyday situations.
Of course Earth Day has special significance here in Santa Barbara, because this city is where it all began.
At this year’s festival, cyclists actually had the option of valet parking their bikes.
