Hospice of Santa Barbara is partnering with Santa Ynez Valley Union High School to provide group and individual bereavement counseling free of charge to students on campus during school hours.
The county-operated emPower program will discuss how energy efficient LED lighting can help cut energy costs in homes during a free workshop Feb. 9, 2016, at Petrini’s Italian Restaurant.
Founded in San Luis Obispo in 1970, PSHH has expanded to Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, with nearly 1,200 self-help homes completed and over 1,600 rental units developed.
Peoples’ Self-Help Housing (PSHH) celebrated its 45th anniversary at the affordable housing provider’s Central Coast Taste of Hope dinner and auction gala Nov. 13, 2015, garnering over $106,000 in sponsorships and an additional $30,000 that was raised that evening.
