People listen at a Women’s Economic Ventures event last year in Ventura.
VENTURA, Calif. – Women’s Economic Ventures invites members of the community to connect with past and current WEV clients Thursday at the first Ventura County WEV Connects of 2015.
The event will be 6-7:30 p.m. at Spicetopia, 576 E. Main St., in Ventura.
Those attending can connect with local entrepreneurs and hear from a panel of business owners. Panel members will be Laura Dunbar, owner of Madison Method; Adriana Perez, owner of Skincare by Adriana; and Kathy Wertheim, founder of Werth-It.
Women’s Economic Ventures provides training and technical assistance to entrepreneurs and loans to small businesses. WEV has helped more than 3,000 local businesses start or expand.
